Waste of money. I didn't get the preorder bonus. The map is ok but the new vehicles are worthless and the there's nothing else to the expansion. you get more with the DLC packs that are available.I'm really let down by this.. I do not recommend the new gold upgrade. You get a few small old tractors and machines that you can easy live without. ( or download them as mods if you cant )The map itself is kind of borring and not as a good as the two other maps that came with farmer sim 2015.But yes the new map do look like some kind of east european country many years ago with old buildings and "darkness" here and there.I mostly think the reason to make the gold version and map are due to the huge amount of east european fans.In general i am dissapointed, but lucky I can avoid using the map or machines and download the mods. But bye bye to the 15 euro. ( is it work 15 europ with all the content and map, yes most people will think that ). Huge Disappointment for $20. For shame. That's coming from a huge fan of this game. Stick to the mods your better off. Map is huge and empty for the most part. A few nice buildings. The equipment is mostly early game crap that you will want to get rid of ASAP. Not happy with this at all. The DLC bonus was 1 crappy harvester thats almost as bad as what you start with.. The new Content is not groundbreaking or endgame. (spoiler) But it is nice. There a few catagories of stuff like the fertilizer spreader that is avaliable for 4k, and other where the equipment is cheaper. Theres 3 tractors and 2 harvestors, and what i like about the new Big harvestor is the pipe. Its quite long and goes fairly high so it will clear even the tallest of trailers. I give the DLC about 7\/10 its worth $10 but hey we will be getting Niva soon anyway (for those of us who preoredered anyway). The new map is nice, i like it, it is very large and open (Very Courseplay friendly) And there is a Boatload of Grass. There are also lots of fields of grass (not buyable) right from the get go so if you want to expand fields it is also quite friendly. The biogas plant silo's are also much smaller and longer, so those of you who use the Cat mod It either wont work or look goofy (Havent tested it yet)Edit: The Cat 994F bucket is too big for silage collection. Oh well.... Conveyor belts it is!! P.S. The new Tatra Semi, has a hitch on the back 10\/10 Giants... im using a baler with a semi without a PTO shaft GG!!. I would not say this adds enough noticeable content to justify the purchase for the average player. The equipment you get is just variations of what you already got and the map that would promise a "visual upgrade" is very bland in my opinion and I much prefer the looks of the others, especially considering the small areas suitable for woodcutting. I'm sure it's a fresh breeze for some who have already played the other maps hours on end but for the rest I would say it's a unneccessary addition.. AMAZING! Great Job Giants. This expansion is definately worth every penny you pay. The new farm is also pretty good aswell. Do not be fooled, the chaff harvester added is not a reskin of the Krone Big X 1000. It has alot less horsepower but you dont notice that. It is also cheaper. The new tatra truck added is cheaper than the Man and it has more power but it is a bit slower. It also has amazing suspension animation and it has rear axle steering. The starter vehicles are good on the new farm but they are not so good as you gain progress. This is only if you get lots of good progress though. The new farm has very nice scenery and good looking textures. There are the great bits and the not so good bits.Things I Like:NEW mapNEW vehicles(especially Tatra)NEW rusty styled buildings on the mapThings i dont like as much:The small started vehicles on the new map.The sewer lakes in the map (they are easy to lose vehicles in)Thanks for reading this review and i hope it helped so please like it. Also read my other reviews for more FS 15 help.. First of all let me state that I normally leave these reviews up to people who do reviews all the time such as Feenix, but since he has decided that he wasn't going to get the farming simulator 2015 gold expansion dlc, I would take a crack of it in written form since I don't have my sony vegas pro anymore. So yeah, after waiting about 8 hours after the time it was supposed to be released, steam finally released the gold expansion to it's users. Ofc after it was released i had to wait an additional 2 hours for it to download since my mother was in the middle of her farmville ritual which bogs our net down badly. I finally got the dlc installed, then promptly loaded it up to try out the new vehicles and map.Let's start off with the map shall we, keep in mind that I will be comparing it to the current default maps, aka Bjornholm (a Swedish map?) and Westbridge Hills (a American style map). Since I started playing FS2015 I usually always ended up on the Bjornholm map because even though I would love a American style map, not being able to do my logging killed Westbridge Hills for me. Not only that but even though I hated chasing my round bales around on both maps, the scenery on Bjornholm made up for the little catch-a-bale mini-game I had developed per say. Now we have Sosnovka (a Russian map?), which upon loading the map and pulling up the pda I instantly liked the map because not only does everything seem spaced out pretty nicely but there is also plenty of logging areas while most of the fields are flat which means no more chasing bales all over the damned place lol and of course the scenery is almost as lovely as Bjornholms (Sosnovka definitely kicks Westbridges butt by far imo!). Another thing I noticed as I was driving around was some very nice bridges and a new AI vehicle, which happens to be one of the only Russian vehicles I love and that is the Gaz 53 with a tipper bed on it (I actually use a mod of this regularly.) My only gripe about the map while exploring was the signs, they're all in Russian and I have absolutely no clue what they say. Overall I give the map a 5 out of 5 stars because I can see myself spending a lot of time on it.Let's move onto the vehicles now. As far as the vehicles go the majority of them didn't catch my attention. Basically 3 of them stood out to me, those are the Zetor Crystal 12045 tractor, the Tatra Phoenix 6x6 Agro-Truck and the Rostselmash Niva. Now before I get started talking about the 3 vehicles that did stand out for me i'd like to make a quick mention of the implements that were added, since they are pretty much exactly the same as their default 3 meter counterparts as far as operation stands there is no real need for me to talk about those. If anything has to be said about them, I like how they look, gives me something fresh to play with. (I'm easy to please). The Zetor Crystal 12045 is a older style tractor that has a beefy sound to it and looks pretty nice to boot. The only downside to the 12045 is the fact that it doesn't have a 3 point hitch on the front which means you'll be somewhat limited as to what you do with it. I've tested all of the basic starter implements such as the 3 meter seeders\/plows\/etc and it seems to fair pretty well with them even while being unable to attach a weight to the front (good job Giants, you have surprised me with this one). I give the 12045 a 4 out of 5 stars, I only knocked off one because I wish It had a 3 point hitch on the front of it.The Tatra Phoenix 6x6 Agro-Truck is a welcome addition for me since I didn't like the default truck, why? Because it was single axle and I think single axle rigs look bloody ridiculous. There isn't much of anything else I can say about this vehicle other than I like how it looks. Other than the new model it seems like it acts exactly the same as the default truck with much less sliding per say. I give the Phoenix 6x6 a 5 out of 5 stars because like I said, it's a welcome change and looks much better than the Man truck. The Rostselmash Niva is the free dlc combine that came with the pre-order and I have to say, for a starter combine this thing looks great and sounds great. It's got a relatively similar beefy sound as the 12045 mentioned above and has about the same tank capacity as the first New Holland that you can get. I give the Niva a 5 out of 5 stars because not only was the model well done, but it sounds great and seems like it'd be a perfect starter combine.Well, with all of that being said I only have two major gripes about the dlc. The first one is I wanted to make a few little changes to the truck as well as changing the signs to english on the map, unfortunately the files are in a \u201cdlc\u201d filetype and I have no clue how to open it nor do I dare for risk of screwing up the file. So being unable to mod it at the moment is a bit depressing for me but i'm sure that sooner or later in the future, someone may figure out how to gain access to all of the files and provide a tutorial for the rest of us so we can do it as well. My second gripe is that I wish they had included some baling and forestry equipment for us to use.Overall the dlc gets a 4 out of 5 from me. It'd get a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the fact that I can't access the map files to change all the text to English. Looks like i'll either be learning Russian until someone can get access to it or i'll add another sticky note to my wall with translations. Shakes my head while staring at the gobs of sticky notes already on my wall. Anyways, thats the end of the review! I appreciate everyone who took the time to read it. :). Great update. I love the new farm. I think some people arn't getting the idea of the new farm though. It's an old community with old ways and therefore the small fields. What they want you to do is modernize the area with new equipment. This means buying the field and using the new plow they gave you to combine the field and make new large ones. That's my take on it anyway. I think I'm going to enjoy this new map.. its good but it doesnt inlude any more dlc i have to buy apart i should just be included with gold like a season pass.
